Lankford started as our Scaffolding Field Superintendent on October 16, 2023. He is from Princeton, Indiana and attended Ivy Tech through the Carpenter’s Union. Lankford is excited for an opportunity to grow in this new position. His favorite part of the job is the people and ability to teach others. Lankford has been a member of the Carpenter’s Union for 11 years and has progressed through the ranks, serving as an apprentice, foreman, and general foreman. When asked who inspires him the most, Lankford said, “My kids.” Outside of work, he enjoys riding and working on motorcycles.

New Hire: Max Lockridge
Lockridge started as our Construction Warehouse Intern on August 18, 2023. Lockridge was born and raised in Boonville, Indiana. He is excited about the opportunities within the company and to watch the company continue to grow and expand. His favorite part about his job is that the priorities change within the minute, so it keeps him on his toes. Before coming to Gribbins, he studied business at Franklin College for a year and did a lot of hands-on work similar to what he does now, so he felt prepared for this role. When asked what inspires him the most, Lockridge said, “I’m inspired by things that have meaning to me.” When he isn’t at work, he enjoys doing anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
New Hire: Ashley Probus
Probus started as our Construction Accounting Intern on August 14, 2023. Probus is from Evansville, Indiana, and attends the University of Southern Indiana. She is double majoring in Accounting and Finance and will graduate in December of 2025. She is excited to learn more about accounting, meet new people, and see the connections between her work here and what she is learning in her classes. Her favorite part about the accounting profession is the diverse tasks that accountants do. There are many different avenues a new grad can take when deciding what to do and where to work, which gives her a sense of comfort knowing there are many options to pursue with her degree. Before Gribbins, Ashley worked at Ashley Furniture where she was responsible for filing, financing applications, ordering necessary furniture, and working with a sales team. When asked who inspires her the most, Probus said, “My biggest inspiration is my sister. She is two years older than me and drives me to do my best in everything. I am inspired by the future we will have together, living near each other and being able to see our hard work pay off.” In her free time, she likes to go plant shopping, crochet, and bake with friends.
New Hire: Denise Peden
Peden started as our Billing Specialist on August 7, 2023. Peden was born at an Air Force hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota. Her parents were born and raised in Evansville, so once her father got out of the Air Force, they all moved back and have been here ever since! She is excited to join a growing and thriving business that has a family atmosphere, and she is proud to be a part of this organization. Her favorite part about her job is that every day is different and not mundane. Before Gribbins, she worked at Equipment Depot for over 12 years. There, she learned a lot about billing, collections, rental coordination, dispatch, and logistics. Other places she’s worked include MH Equipment, Deig Brothers, and most recently, Frontier-Kemper Constructors. When asked who inspires her the most, Peden said, “I live my life just trying to be a better version of myself from the previous day. I’d have to say that even though my children are grown, they inspire me.” Outside of work, she likes to stay busy and play in her dart league.
