Miguel started as our Quality Controls Coordinator on December 15, 2025. He was born in Burley, Idaho, and spent much of his childhood and teenage years in Chicago, Illinois. He has spent most of his adult life in Lafayette, Indiana. Miguel is excited to be part of a team of experts in the field of insulation and scaffolding, which presents a new challenge for him. Before joining Gribbins, he worked for the state as a Project Inspector in the Construction Department. His firsthand experience with the bidding process, working directly with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring projects stayed within tolerance and budget has been a valuable asset in his current role. Miguel’s favorite part of the job is the constant collaboration with coworkers. When asked who inspires him the most, Miguel said, “My wife and daughter. They are the foundation to everything I do in life. My wife uplifts and challenges me to be the best that I can, while my daughter doesn’t think twice to humble me when I get too big headed! It’s a beautiful combination!” Outside of work, he enjoys playing Pokémon (the trading card game). He used to travel the world playing in events, now he just plays at the local card shop.

Many book and movie characters come to mind, but I always think to Medal of Honor recipients; Second Lieutenant Audie Murphy in WW2, Master Sergeant Roy Benavidez in Vietnam along with many others.” Outside of work, he enjoys watching his daughter Hadley play softball, taking trips with his wife Emma, attending church, golfing, playing rec-league softball, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
