Samantha Duley Promoted to Billing Supervisor
Gribbins is proud to announce the promotion of Samantha Duley from Senior Billing Specialist to Billing Supervisor. Sam has a passion for ensuring proper procedures are followed, with the overall goal of providing our customers with accurate billings on projects.
In her new role, Sam will supervise the daily activities of two billing team members while continuing her own billing responsibilities, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and quality in every transaction. She will also lead the Accounts Receivable collection efforts of the team.
Sam was selected for this role because she is a great role model for both new and future team members. It has been a pleasure to see her grow into new roles during her time with us. She is an excellent communicator, able to speak professionally and pleasantly with individuals of any background or personality. Her ability to switch gears, multitask, and actively contribute to daily functions will be crucial in this new position.
“I’m excited to collaborate and work toward a common goal with our team members. I hope to lead by example and support others in their growth as well,” said Sam. “I want to make others’ days easier by teaching my team how to navigate and prioritize tasks. I also want to improve my skills and dive deeper into the functions of our billing software to better assist our team.”
In this new role, we expect to see the Billing Department grow in knowledge and improve billing accuracy. Sam will encourage a collaborative team environment where both successes and challenges are shared. When asked, “What’s something you’ve learned at Gribbins that’s helped you grow professionally?” Sam responded: “There are no sidelines here. Everyone has an active role in productivity and making sure our team is meeting expectations. Knowing that I am making a difference and contributing to the company’s growth motivates me.”
