Safety Program Update

The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC), of which we are a member, honored us with the Thomas J. Reynolds Award for Excellence in Construction Safety and Health at the 2010 TAUC Leadership Conference.  This award recognizes members who achieve a Zero DART rate (Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred).  During 2009, we logged 317,491 hours, and the actions of our safety-minded employees prevented even a single instance of DART.  Congratulations to our safety team, led by Trevor Atherton, and our employees for another safe working year.  TAUC Press Release

Also, we have revamped our safety incentive system by offering online access.  As of today, August 17, 2010, all employees may begin checking their points balance online (updated quarterly), browse the full list of incentive items online, and even redeem points online.  This easy system will make the safety points program more accessible.  If you have any questions about the online system, please contact Megan Knoll.  For questions about your specific points balance or your order, please contact Vickie Dubord.
