New Hire: Michael Garcia

Michael started as our Quality Controls Coordinator on February 2, 2026. Pleasanton, Texas, is his hometown, and he has lived in Poteet, Texas, for the last three years until he received a job opportunity with Gribbins. He is excited for the opportunity to continue growing his career in the insulation industry as QA/QC and appreciates how welcoming the team members have been in helping him get here. Before joining Gribbins, he worked as a field insulator for 24 years, progressing from apprentice to journeyman, foreman, and general foreman. He has worked in both the commercial and industrial sectors, and traveling has given him extensive hands-on experience with mechanical insulation systems and working with people. He entered the insulation trade in 2001, joined HFIAW Local 87 in 2008, and completed his apprenticeship, receiving his mechanic’s card. His favorite part of the job is working with his hands, the constantly changing insulation projects, and being part of seeing projects through from the ground up to completion. He also values the brotherhood and sisterhood out in the field. When asked who inspires him the most, Michael said, “My grandpa, dad, and uncles are hard workers who all worked many roles in their careers in the pipeline industry. I want my daughter to see my hard work and know that she can do anything as long as she puts in the effort.” Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, swimming, tubing down the river, going camping, firing up the BBQ pit to grill and smoke meat, and spending time with family.
