Gribbins Insulation was founded in March of 1985 and incorporated in Indiana. As an industrial and commercial insulation contractor, we insulate mechanical and process systems for commercial, industrial, and power generating facilities throughout the Midwestern United States, including Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Ohio. Insulation is all we do.
The founder, Jim Gribbins, continues to own and manage the company in Evansville, Indiana. His leadership over the years has allowed us to grow to over 30 office employees in our six locations and about 150 insulators in the field.

From the start, our mission has been to maximize customer satisfaction by providing the highest levels of safety, quality and productivity while maintaining personal and professional integrity, leading to employee fulfillment and company profit. As our founding President, Jim Gribbins, firmly believes, “Profit should be the result of good business.”
Since our founding, we have seen 30 years of continued growth through competitiveness, efficient work practices, and an unyielding commitment to safety. Each project is completed at the highest level of quality, as well as on time and on budget. Our experience in the industrial and commercial insulation industries has allowed us to build relationships with distributors and manufacturers of mechanical insulation to service every job with the best material at the best price. A direct result of this dedication to high quality work has been an increase in projects. In the last 15 years, our annual corporate hours increased over 250%, from just over 150,000 in 1999 to over 400,000 in 2013.

As one of our core values, Safety is part of our culture and continually emphasized. Our goal on each and every project is to optimize Safety, Quality, and Productivity. We have a nationally recognized company safety program with an EMR of 0.60 as of May 1, 2016. This success is due to our top-down approach – from our founding President to the newest apprentice to our receptionist, every single employee is trained on the importance of safety and earns “safety points” in our extensive incentive program. One of our administrative assistants chooses to wear gloves while filing to prevent paper cuts. Please visit our Safety page to view some of the highlights of our safety program.
